Not a Perfect Dad
But let me say this up front: I’m not a perfect dad. I’ve spent decades walking alongside men — and I’ve needed the same grace, prayer, and brotherhood I’m inviting other fathers to pursue.
There were seasons when I projected a spiritual depth I wasn't actually living. I carried weight I never talked about, convinced that asking for help meant weakness. What changed me wasn't finding all the answers — it was finally setting the weight down and letting God do the work I couldn't do myself.
Pastor. Coach. Husband. Father. A man still being refined.
My Family
I’ve been married to my closest friend for over 30 years. Together we even built and sold a business of our own. We have two adult children who are married, and my absolute favorite title these days is ‘Grandpa’.
This Next Chapter
In 2025, my first grandchild arrived—and gave me the opening I’d been waiting for. Sitting in the hospital holding that precious child, I told my wife, 'This is it—we need to retire.' She agreed. Within 90 days, we were retired from our long-standing careers and relocated 600 miles to be near our granddaughter. I have now stepped fully into this next chapter. This isn't a rocking-chair retirement. It's a full-throttle sprint to walk alongside men who want to become the Servant-Leader Dad their families need.

The Uniform: I'm a jeans and t-shirt guy—and yes, you might catch me in sandals with socks. Don’t judge.
Laidback but Fierce: I live a simple, low-stress life, but I am full of fire when it comes to helping men step up.
Built for Brotherhood: I value deep friendship and real, honest conversation over surface-level small talk.
Zero Zoom Fatigue: Coaching happens over a simple phone call, often while you're just sitting right in your truck or car.
Heavy Lifting, High Fun: We go deep and might even shed a tear, but life is too short to be rigid—we’re also going to laugh as we journey through this together.

I've spent over 35 years walking alongside ex-cons, pastors, cops, and ordinary dads who carry hidden burdens. True change comes when we stop carrying the weight alone, stop comparing ourselves to others around us, and let God meet us right where we are. Truth be told, I've walked longest with Jesus—through every win and wreckage.
